It started with the Kingston Trio and morphed into so much more.

From the early 1960s thru today - folk, rock ‘n’ roll, rhythm and blues, soul, funk, and heavy metal music has been happening in Sausalito. With venues as diverse as the historic houseboat community, the Sausalito Woman’s Club and the storied Record Plant, the Sausalito Historical Society will present a historical perspective of the music scene in Sausalito over the past six decades.
